| 1. | Begin with a square peice of paper and fold it in half lengthwise and widthwise so that you have a "T" shaped fold in the midle of your square. | ![]() |
| 2. | Begin by folding one corner into the center. | ![]() |
| 3. | Continue with the second corner. | ![]() |
| 4. | And the third. | ![]() |
| 5. | And the fourth and last corner into the center. | ![]() |
| 6. | Now pick a side and fold it in towards the center so that the flat edge is flush with the center line of the square. | ![]() |
| 7. | Continue with the other side and do the same. You should have a long rectangle shape now. | ![]() |
| 8. | Next fold one of the far sides in to the center. | ![]() |
| 9. | Repeat on the other side. | ![]() |
| 10. | Now undo the last two steps so we're back at our first folded square shape. | ![]() |
| 11. | Now unfold two opposite corners. | ![]() |
| 12. | Now, with a pair of scissors, cut inward along the fold to the second fold-intersection next to the remaining triangle folds. | ![]() |
| 13. | Continue the cuts along all four sides. | ![]() |
| 14. | Now take the thin pointed edges and bring them in towards each other to form the base structure of the box. | ![]() |
| 15. | Feel free to secure them with tape, but you'll be folding the longer edges over them next anyway, so it's not necessary. | ![]() |
| 16. | Fold both longer edges up and over the side to finish off your Origami Box! | ![]() |
| 17. | Congratulations on your new origami box! | ![]() |
